Dear Customers,

Please be informed that all cargoes that arrive in USA after July 4/06 will be necessary/obligatory that wood packages be treated (phytosanitary treatment). For cargoes that will arrive after this date origin station will have to fulfill the requirements disposed in the ISPM 15 International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures.

All wooden packages must have been subject to a recognized and known treatment method (heat treatment or fumigation). To prove the fulfillment of the required standard procedure, the wood package should be duly identifiable either with a badge or marked. Additional documents as phytosanitary certificates for packaging will be required by the local authorities.
