China (PRC): Earthquake – Update

Railway/Expressway/Road

By May 16, all railways connecting to Chengdu resumed normal operation. However, the major priority is still given to the relief efforts in all kinds of transportation.

For all means of transportation, major priority is still given to the transportation of relief supplies.

Airport

International lines are gradually resuming normal operations, and both inbound and outbound services are operating, but lead time is much longer.

Ocean freight

As railway service for container delivery (non-relief supplies) is not available, ocean freight export is affected strongly.
